Accessibility Statement

Accessibility target

ForgeNine works toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA as its technical target. WCAG is a useful standard, but following it does not address every disability, assistive technology, browser, or individual need.

The current design

The public site uses a light design: dark purple text on a cream background, a rounded display typeface for headings, and a plain typeface for body text. Body text colours are chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio against the background and against the pastel shapes that can sit behind it. Links are underlined or styled as buttons, and every control shows a visible focus ring when you use a keyboard.

Motion and the 3D background

The home page and the case study draw a decorative 3D background of soft pastel shapes behind the text. It carries no information that is not also in the page text, it is hidden from screen readers, and the pages still work when a browser cannot display it. The policy pages, including this one, have no moving background.

• Pause control: every page with a moving background has a visible Pause motion / Play motion button, and the same control appears in the footer. Your choice is remembered on this device.
• Reduced motion: if your device or browser is set to reduce motion, the background is paused by default and decorative animations stay still.
• Background tabs: the background stops drawing while the browser tab is hidden.
• Data saver: with data saver on, or on a very slow connection, the 3D background is not downloaded at all.

Measures taken

• semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and meaningful alternative text;
• a skip link and keyboard-operable navigation and forms with visible focus;
• contrast, zoom, responsive reflow, and mobile touch-target checks;
• the motion controls described above;
• clear validation, status, error, and success feedback;
• automated accessibility testing paired with manual keyboard and rendered-page review; and
• an accessible HTML proposal page as the primary alternative to downloadable documents.

Current assessment status

ForgeNine last completed a full set of checks on August 2, 2026, on an earlier design of the public site. Those checks covered desktop, tablet, and mobile widths, keyboard navigation, focus behavior, responsive overflow, form states, labeling, and automated WCAG fundamentals.

In October 2026, ForgeNine replaced the public site with the current light design described above. The same checks, plus reduced-motion and zoom checks, are being repeated on the current design. This statement will be updated with the results and with any barrier found.

ForgeNine has not completed an independent formal conformance certification or tested every screen-reader, browser, operating-system, and third-party combination. This statement therefore does not claim certified WCAG conformance.

Known limitations and third parties

• Retesting of the current design is not yet complete, so a barrier may exist that is not listed here. Please report any you find.
• Some behavior in embedded signature, invoice, payment, bot-protection, email, and hosting pages is controlled by third-party providers.
• Downloadable proposal PDFs may not provide the same navigation and reflow as the primary HTML proposal.
• Product screenshots may contain interface text that is not intended to replace the adjacent written explanation.

ForgeNine reviews provider-controlled barriers when they are identified and will offer a reasonable accessible alternative for a ForgeNine-controlled process where practical.

• the page or feature involved;
• what you were trying to do;
• the barrier or error you encountered; and
• your browser, device, and assistive technology, if you are comfortable sharing them.

ForgeNine aims to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days, provide an alternative when reasonably available, and track remediation of ForgeNine-controlled barriers. You are not required to disclose a disability.
